Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Figma for Motion website and your purchase, access, and use of its digital design products.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing this website or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service or purchase a product. You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms for you.
The products
Figma for Motion offers digital Figma design collections through two one-time purchase packages:
- Basic: a curated selection of editable, static Figma designs without animations, plus the additions described on the purchase page.
- Premium: access to the complete collection of editable Figma source files with animations and motion, plus the additions described on the purchase page.
The packages are not subscriptions. Current contents, promotional pricing, included updates, and other package details are described on the website at the time of purchase. Preview images and videos are illustrative and may show the designs in use.
Prompts and implementation resources
Premium includes the project prompts and implementation resources expressly identified as included on the product page. Premium currently includes 11 ready-to-use prompts for selected templates. Copy and paste a prompt into an external AI coding tool to generate a website based on its design. Basic does not include these Premium resources unless explicitly stated at purchase.
We intend to convert more designs into prompts periodically. This is a development plan, not a representation that every design already has a prompt or a guarantee of a completion date or conversion schedule. Any specific commitments made at the time of purchase remain applicable.
In these terms, references to files include the prompts and source code supplied with your package. The same license and restrictions apply: you may adapt them to create personal or commercial end products and client work, but may not redistribute or resell them as reusable prompts, source files, template packs, or a competing collection.
Some prompts may require third-party AI, design, or development tools. Their accounts, fees, terms, and privacy policies are separate. Generated results can vary by tool, model, settings, and later updates. Review and test generated code, functionality, accessibility, security, and third-party assets before publishing or delivering a project.
Orders and payment
Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. Prices, available currencies, taxes, exchange rates, and payment methods are shown at checkout. Your bank or payment provider may apply conversion or other fees that we do not control.
An order is complete only after Stripe confirms successful payment. We may reject or cancel an order affected by fraud, technical error, incorrect pricing, or unauthorized payment. Valid coupons apply only according to the conditions displayed when they are used and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Delivery and access
After payment confirmation, access is delivered through a transactional email and may also be available through a personal page on figmaformotion.com. Basic and Premium use separate Figma files.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address, keeping your access link and email secure, and maintaining access to your Figma account. If delivery does not arrive, check your spam folder and contact us at danielsnows.ui@gmail.com with the email used at checkout.
License
When you purchase a package, Figma for Motion grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the files included in that package. Subject to these terms, you may:
- edit and adapt the files for your own personal or commercial projects;
- use the designs in websites, applications, presentations, marketing, and client work; and
- deliver a finished design or implementation to a client.
The license is granted to the purchaser only. It does not transfer ownership of the original files, the collection, or the underlying intellectual property.
Restrictions
You may not:
- share, distribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or give access to the original or substantially similar source files;
- include the files in another template library, digital asset pack, marketplace listing, course download, or competing product;
- make the collection available to a team, agency, client, or third party as a reusable resource unless a separate license expressly allows it;
- remove ownership notices and falsely claim authorship of the original designs or animations;
- use the files or service for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive purposes; or
- attempt to bypass, expose, or misuse personal access links and security controls.
If you publish a substantially recognizable reproduction of an original Figma for Motion design or animation on social media, please credit Daniel Snows as the original designer. This credit requirement does not prevent ordinary confidential client work or materially transformed end products.
Intellectual property
The website, brand, previews, copy, original designs, animations, source files, and collection structure are owned by Daniel Snows or their applicable licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. “Figma” and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Figma for Motion is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Figma.
Updates and availability
We may improve, replace, reorganize, or discontinue parts of the website or collection. Any promised package additions will be provided according to the description presented at purchase, subject to reasonable changes in format, schedule, or content.
Access also depends on third-party services such as Stripe, Resend, Figma, and hosting providers. We do not guarantee that every feature or third-party service will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device, browser, or future Figma version.
Refunds and consumer rights
Because the products are digital and access is delivered promptly after payment, purchases are generally final once access has been provided, except where a refund is required by applicable law or the purchased product cannot be delivered as described.
Contact danielsnows.ui@gmail.com promptly if you have a delivery or product issue. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory cancellation, refund, warranty, or other consumer rights that apply where you live. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the associated license and access may be revoked.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or revoke access if we reasonably believe an access link has been shared, a payment is fraudulent or reversed, or these terms have been materially violated. You must stop using and distributing the source files when a license is terminated. This does not limit any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law.
Disclaimers
The products are creative resources, not a promise of commercial, audience, or business results. To the extent permitted by law, the website and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties except those that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Figma for Motion and Daniel Snows will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the website, files, third-party services, or your use of the products. Our total liability for a claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection or jurisdiction rights that apply to you. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the products, service, or law. Updated terms apply from the date published on this page. Changes will not retroactively remove rights already granted for a completed purchase unless required by law or necessary to address fraud, security, or misuse.
